Online California Achievement Test with near-instant, emailed results. This is a timed test.

This test is for students entering grades 2 through 12. Scores reported will offer a grade equivalent score, but also percentile and stanine rankings for each of the individual test sections. You will receive your test results by email shortly after the test is completed.

Ordering Instructions:

Enter the FIRST NAME and LAST NAME of the student to be tested in the spaces provided.
Select the GRADE ENTERING; not the student's current grade.
Indicate if you would like to add the RECOMMENDATION SERVICE or COMPOSITE SCORING service to your test (both services are explained below).
Please enter information only for one student at a time, then select the Add To Cart button.
If you wish to purchase testing services for additional students, or wish to make other purchases, select the Continue Shopping link after viewing your shopping cart.

You will receive an email with details about registering to take the test shortly after completing your order. In most cases we are able to send the information within an hour but there may be times where it takes longer - up to 1 business day.

There is no refund for any unused online achievement or placement testing service.

*Please note that the California Achievement Test has a 1 year expiration date.

Composite Scoring:
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test.

Families who request a composite score will receive (in addition to the individual results provided for the seven subject areas) composite score results in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.

To include a composite score with your test results, simply check the “Composite Scoring” option.

** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.

Recommendation Service Explanation:
The recommendation service that we offer allows for guidance in selecting curriculum for your student. Once the test is completed we will send the test scores to our homeschool curriculum department for review. From there, they will make curriculum recommendations for you based on your student's test scores. This can be an especially helpful tool if your student has above or below average scores on their test, and can assist in encouraging your student further.

All recommended books are available for purchase on our website. This process can take a few business days.

After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into the Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student’s tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one he or she originally took, the test cost will not be deducted from your student’s tuition fee.

Great fast test to use for homeschoolers. My kids enjoy this way of testing and I love the instant results. Customer service is amazing to offer support if there are glitches.

As homeschoolers, we have to test certain years in our state, and this was our second time using the CAT from Christian Liberty. Easy to purchase, easy to take, and results are available instantly when the test is complete. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars - I would like to be able to see the questions/answers to know what areas I might need to focus on for next year and going forward.

Seriously, how much easier can this get?

I used to do the paper test. This has results emailed to you, ours was in our inbox within 10 minutes of taking the test.

No "proctoring" needed [if it's required by your state, like PA does.] It's amazing. Timed, with the timer showing time left. Nice & easy. Just like the paper test, you can do a test & come back tomorrow to do other sections.

I won't go back to paper tests!

A quick, inexpensive, and easy way for me to meet the homeschool requirement for my children. Kids don't even mind taking the test because they can choose the order and choose the section to work on. Also, because it can be done over a long period of time, it is low stress for them.

We ordered the tests online. They were very self explanatory and the kids did well working with them. We were very impressed to get the results within 15 minutes of completion. We plan to use these the next time we are required to do testing.
