Grades 2–12*

Christian Liberty Press offers the paper-version of the CAT tests for entering grades 2 through 12. This service includes all the necessary testing materials and instructions for administering them. After testing, return the materials to us for scoring. We will then mail you the final results and original test sheet. Scores are reported in grade equivalent, stanine, and percentile format.

It often takes one week to grade and return your student’s test results. If ordering the Curriculum Recommendation service, please allow an additional week for receipt of both the test results and recommendation.

If you decide to enroll your student into the Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the testing fee will be deducted from your student’s tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different Achievement Testing level than the one he or she originally took, the test cost will not be deducted from your student’s tuition fee. Please use the CAT Level Chart below to determine if you are eligible for a refund when enrolling your child with CLASS.

Payment

•	The entire fee must accompany the order form. We do not accept partial payments and there are no discounts for multiple orders.

•	The paper-based CAT Testing Service fee is $25 per student. The Curriculum Recommendation Service fee is $18 per student.

Cancellation / Refunds

•

Testing Service: a 60% refund will be granted for the paper version of the CAT only if the unused testing service materials are returned to Christian Liberty Press within 60 days of the date of shipment. Mail your materials to Christian Liberty Press, Attn: Testing Service, 502 West Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004-5402.

•	Curriculum Recommendation Service: if we receive your cancellation notice before we start the recommendation process, we will send you a full refund. Once our recommendation is completed, we are unable to issue a refund for this service.

•	If you wish to cancel your testing service and/or curriculum recommendation service, contact Christian Liberty Press as soon as possible to prevent unwanted processing that may affect your refund.

I have used these tests for my children for a few years now and I appreciate how easy they are to follow and use. I am also pleased with the price compared to other tests I have used. They also let me know what subjects my kids need extra help in.

The CAT is a standard test, but I really appreciate how CLP ships right away and is flexible with returning so if my kids are sick the week we plan to test, that we don't have to feel a rush to return it in 12 days. Only downside to this CAT is that it doesn't cover all of the subjects.

As a homeschool Mom, I only want the best education for my child. End of the year testing is extremely important, to me, because I know the results of how well she has learned throughout the school year and what may need to be focused on for the upcoming year. This CAT test is up to date on testing for all grades, accurate, and the results are quickly graded and sent back.

I like this choice of testing. It is widely ranged for every students level of learning. The instructions are easy to follow and understand for both the parent and the student. I recommend this testing for all homeschoolers.

We used the CAT test for the first time this year, for our children in 8th, 7th, 5th, 3rd and 2nd grades. Ordering was easy, the tests arrived quickly and when I had a question, customer service was excellent. Administering the test at home makes it very convenient. We will definitely order this test again.

I have used this testing for my children for the past 4 years. I receive it within a few days of ordering it. It is very easy to understand and to administer to your kids yourself.

My oldest son has been taking the CAT paper test for years now and has had no problems with it. The questions start out simple and work their way up in difficulty to ease the student into the test. It was not, however, the test for my youngest, who has a hard time concentrating especially when being timed. So he, my youngest son, tried the online Test Point this year, also offered by Christian Liberty.
