The Christian Liberty Phonics Readers are a set of four books designed to complement a kindergarten phonics program (such as Adventures in Phonics: Level A). The series starts with one-page stories that focus on short vowel sounds, and builds to include two and three-page stories that stress long vowel sounds and, ultimately, blends. Numerous illustrations and photographs are included to heighten interest. Each story teaches Christian values and consists of short sentences intended to retain attention and promote success. Stories are also preceded by practice words that highlight the appropriate phonics rules being presented.

I am using these independent from the adventures in phonics program and love them! They are very well written and are perfect for new readers! They work well with the phonics program we are using even though the order of the sounds is different. I just pick through them to find what he can read or we co-read...me reading the words and explaining how I read them. By doing that my son has picked up new sounds before learning them in his other program. A great help and boost of confidence for him!
I put ours on the iPad for easy reading :)
