This full-color reader will introduce students to God’s marvelous creation while reinforcing phonics principles. Beginning vocabulary skills are also learned as students are exposed to new words. Introducing an animal with each letter of the alphabet, twenty-six chapters will take readers from alligator to zebra.

Great interesting facts about animals! Written so young children can understand and it keeps their attention.

This volume is delightful. It's informative, entertaining. and mostly useful.
There is lots of info packed into every description of the animals that teaches kids while it gives entertaining facts relevant to the animals but not absolutely essential. It is a great learning tool to help them learn through pleasure reading and that is what this book does.
It has many uses as it can be read as a stand-alone. It is also great as a companion to a curriculum about animal learning.
I recommend it highly.
