Get the support you need with the flexibility you want! When you enroll in the CLASS Plan, your student's academic records are maintained by CLASS. We assemble the curriculum best fitted for your child based on standardized test scores (optional), other academic information, and your course choices, in accord with CLASS curriculum requirements. Your schedule is up to you! Books and materials are chosen from a variety of carefully selected publishers. In addition to the publishers routinely assigned within our standard curriculum, CLASS offers alternate publishers in certain course categories for selected grade levels. If you request an alternate course, CLASS will assign it provided that your student’s academic background and standardized test scores are appropriate for the grade level. After you begin working with our curriculum, you may request a new assignment if a particular course proves inappropriate.
Please visit the CLASS website for details.
Curriculum: Our kindergarten program is designed to teach four and five-year-olds basic reading, writing, and mathematics. Completion of this material will prepare students for first grade. The table below briefly describes the courses and materials in this curriculum. Please click on a course title in the table below to see its description and a book preview. (Note: Book preview is not available for some courses)
Book Credits: When enrolling with CLASS, certain books qualify for tuition credit if you already own these books. CLASS has made this option available to you in order to try to reduce your tuition costs. Within the chart below, please pay special attention to the items in red, which qualify for this credit. When ordering, if you have the book title indicated (please be careful to verify the correct title, publisher, and published date for the title), you may select above that you do not need this title shipped to you and your credit will immediately be applied to your purchase. CLASS does not provide financial credit for most teacher keys or manuals, or Christian Liberty Press publications.
Achievement and Placement Testing:
New and re-entering students New and re-entering students enrolling in grades K–1 do not need to take a placement test prior to curriculum development. If you wish to have your student take one, the online TestPoint placement test* is available for no extra charge.
Re-enrolling students Re-enrolling students are not required to be tested.
Pre-Testing If you choose to have your re-enrolling student pre-tested, please select yes above. The student’s curriculum will not be developed until the pre-test is completed and returned. The TestPoint placement test* is recommended for pre-testing, but not required.
*Please allow 1 - 2 business days processing time for your online test. You will be notified via email with website information when your student's test is set up and ready to be taken.

This package is exactly what we were looking for. It is challenging and very close to the goals set forth in some of the best schools. The price is the best I have found anywhere. We have peace of mind knowing the administrative part is taken care of so we can focus on teaching.

My daughter is an only child, and this is our first year of homeschooling. It's going great so far! My only regret was not to get the Advanced Kindergarten. I was nervous that it would be too hard for her, but she's really past the regular kindergarten core concepts. We're sticking with it and using it as review, but if you're on the fence -- go ahead and get the Advanced. Great program though, and I do think we'll use it for first grade too! :)

So far we are about a third of the way in, and sailing smoothly! He was a little bored at the beginning with the easier stuff, but overall a good review so far.

My husband and I homeschooled our own children using CLASS back in the 70’s and 80’s. When God gave us a grandchild to rear, we had no question as to what form of education we would use and where we would get it from. We chose CLASS again because we knew it to be well rounded, inexpensive, and we needed the security of the program for legal purposes. We were also drawn to it because of the leaning towards Reformed Theology. This is very important to us. We are pleased to find so many improvements in the materials and like it even better than we did the first time around. Thanks!
