This world history text provides a comprehensive overview of ancient history from Creation through the 1620s from a Christian perspective. Extensive vocabulary questions and suggested projects are listed throughout the text. This illustrated text contains numerous high-quality maps. Most history textbooks are written from a secular viewpoint, but this introductory text is different! Providing a comprehensive look at Western, African, and Asian civilizations from creation to 1620, it affirms the biblical view of creation (though it discusses evolution) and gives your kids insight into other cultures and religions from a Christian perspective. Includes vocabulary questions, exercises, maps, and black-and-white illustrations.

We've been using this in our study on Ancient History, and I am so impressed with this book. The information is presented very well, and yet in an interesting way. I found it difficult to find resources that were based on a young earth, where men were farmers and built cities and such early, as the Bible says, but this supported the Bible entirely, whilst mentioning what others believe where needed. I sincerly wish I had been taught history with this series.

I have used this text for several of my high school children and have been very pleased with it's concise and well written text. I would recommend it for World History from creation to the early 1600s.
