It covers the following subject areas: Reading (vocabulary and comprehension), Mathematics (computation and concepts & problems), and Language (mechanics, usage & structure, and spelling). The test for entering grade 2 also includes Auding.

This service includes all the necessary materials and instructions for administering the test. After testing, please return the materials to us for scoring (an envelope is included, but you may use any mailing method you would prefer). After scoring the test, we will then mail the final results and original test sheet to you.

- If you wish to purchase testing services for additional students, or wish to make other purchases, select the Continue Shopping link after viewing your shopping cart.
It can take roughly 1 week to grade the test and mail the results after receiving your test(s). If ordering the Recommendation Service or Composite Scoring service, please allow up to an additional week for the results and service information to be mailed.
* Please note that the California Achievement Test has a 1 year expiration date.
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test.
Families who request a composite score will receive (in addition to the individual results provided for the seven subject areas) composite score results in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.
To include a composite score with your test results, simply check the "Composite Scoring" option.
** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.
If you are unsure which curriculum materials to choose based on the achievement test scores, Christian Liberty offers two different curriculum recommendation services to provide guidance in this area:
|Basic Service – provides a subject-by-subject listing of recommended curriculum materials (from those offered through Christian Liberty) based solely on the CAT scores.
Premium Service – currently unavailable
Both services can take a few business days to complete and may delay the arrival of your test scores.
After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into the Christian Liberty Academy School System (CLASS) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student's tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one he or she originally took, the test cost will not be deducted from your student's tuition fee.

PROVIDED NECESSARY TESTING
This product shipped very fast and the content is on the level of both my children really easy to do and I liked that there was a paper choice rather than online. Were very satisfied.
I'm happy to know that CAT-70 is still available.
I like using this to help me know where my children’s strengths are and where their weaknesses may be
I have used this test for many years. I recommend it.
I'm very disappointed this test does not include anything covering Social Studies nor Science. If I had known this would not be included, I would not have ordered this product.
Test was a little discouraging for my 3rd grader, since the same test booklet is used for grades 4-6, especially in math fractions section.
I use these every year. I like that they are scored in a timely manner and I get the results back within a reasonable time.
My son Isaiah loves y’all’s testings.
