This text uses each of the six days of creation as a launching pad for a basic study of numerous scientific concepts, such as the solar system, weather and seasons, plants, animals, and the human body. Numerous photographs and illustrations are included in the "twenty-minute" lessons, which occur every other day during most of the normal school year.

This is THE BEST elementary science book I have ever seen. I've used it for my first grader this year and we LOVE it. I love how it has great information, is perfect for the age group, and ties into the seven days of creation to help it all flow together. This is a great book!
This book is so much more than I was expecting! The illustrations re full coe and FABULOUS! I think it's really neat how thy explore science in the context of each day of creation. The information and activities are perfect for the age group.
