This study guide emphasizes the way that the Old Testament prepared for the coming of Christ. The five parts (which cover theocratic beginnings, establishment, development, decline, and transition) are divided into 48 chapters, which span Genesis to Malachi. Each chapter of text concludes with exercises such as factual questions, thought questions, memory work, and map work.

This is a wonderful High School journey into the Old Testament! This is a meaty treatise on each of the books of the Old Testament, so that the student can gain a fuller understanding of God's work and His people.
We have used this product since 1996 with our Grade 9 and Grade 10 pupils, and have always found it very good. It gives a clear and detailed exposition of each of the Old Testament books and helps the pupil to gain an understanding of the Old Testament as a whole.
