Composite Scoring:
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test. Composite score results are displayed in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.
What is Composite Scoring?
** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.
Recommendation Service:
If you are unsure which curriculum materials to choose based on the achievement test scores, Christian Liberty offers a curriculum recommendation service to provide guidance in this area. This service provides a subject-by-subject listing of recommended curriculum materials (from those offered through Christian Liberty) based solely on the CAT scores.
The recommendation service can take a few business days to complete and may delay the arrival of your test scores.
After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into Christian Liberty Homeschools (CLH) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student's tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one originally taken, the test cost will not be deducted from your student's tuition fee.

Convenient and easy to use.
The product made taking and grading standardized tests very convenient and easy. This is especially true here in PA where these tests are required. The scores also help you to see where your home school may need supplementation.

Great Resource
This was my child's first standardised test and it was very easy for him to use. This will likely be our 'go-to' for testing needs in the future. He was able to choose which order he did the sections of the test and take breaks in between sections. We chose to stretch the testing over 2 days; and of course the best part is that the test was ready for administration in 24 hours and results were immediate.

Great Resource for Homeschoolers
We have been homeschooling full time for three years. Our schooling is going great, but we wanted to see exactly how our students were doing. We Googled testing options and found that Christian Liberty offered the CAT Online. We are so thankful. This was a wonderful experience. Very user friendly. Very easily explained. Quick. My children were sad that their testing time was over. We will definitely do the CAT through Christian Liberty again.

Pretty good test
Pro's: The test covers a lot of basic essential topics. Only takes about 3 hours in total. 100% online. No waiting for test books. Tests taken at our convenient times Clear scoring system Con's: Website conked out several times. Some instructions not clear. Would be nice to see which questions were wrong in order to look for patterns.

We Plan On Doing It Again!
I was skeptical at first of taking the CAT test online. We had done other testing and thought we'd give this a try. We did it last year for the first time and it was fast, easy and our favorite part was getting the results back immediately. We didn't have any issues whatsoever.

A Fantastic Service for Homeschoolers
We've used this test for two years now. I've been able to use it for alternative testing in two different states. It's an incredible value compared to other test. We will continue to use this test in the future.

Great tool for helping me find the gaps in my children's knowledge
I had my children take the test so I could know where they may have gaps in their education. Their results basically confirmed the areas that I suspected weakness but it also gave me encouragement to see that there were areas that they were well above their grade level.

Good Marker
My kids say this was the hardest standardized test they've ever taken, and last year in public school, they took plenty of these tests. One huge difference for them was that this is a timed test, while at the public school tests weren't timed. I personally like it being timed, but I will say that my younger kids who don't usually use my computer had a little more difficult time clicking on answers and clicking "next" in a timely manner. For my 17" computer, the test questions, answers and "next" button weren't always visible without scrolling down, unless I had zoomed out. But overall, I think it accurately shows where my kids are at, is easy to administer, and I like the immediate results.
