Composite Scoring:
Christian Liberty has added the composite score option in response to some state and local school requirements.** This score is calculated from the raw scores of the individual sections of the California Achievement Test. Composite score results are displayed in raw score, percentile, and stanine rank formats. A grade equivalent composite score is not available.
What is Composite Scoring?
** Christian Liberty does not require a composite score for enrollment into its homeschool academy.
Recommendation Service:
If you are unsure which curriculum materials to choose based on the achievement test scores, Christian Liberty offers a curriculum recommendation service to provide guidance in this area. This service provides a subject-by-subject listing of recommended curriculum materials (from those offered through Christian Liberty) based solely on the CAT scores.
The recommendation service can take a few business days to complete and may delay the arrival of your test scores.
After testing is completed:
If you decide to enroll your student into Christian Liberty Homeschools (CLH) within six months after receiving the test results, the cost of the test will be deducted from your student's tuition fee. However, if you enroll your student in a grade level using a different test than the one originally taken, the test cost will not be deducted from your student's tuition fee.

Great testing tool
I really appreciate being able to use the CAT online testing. My kids get to use the "bubble" click approach to pick the answer, it is timed, broken into sections and best of all- I get the results immediately.

Sooo Easy to Use
The product was sent to my email shortly after purchase. Each section had clear directions, my daughter was able to navigate the tests without difficulty, and grades were simple to access.

Great testing process for Language and Math!
My son and I both enjoyed this testing process as it was easy to take and had instantaneous results. My rating would be a 5 if Science and Social Studies could be included in the test.

First-time using online test
This was the first time we used an online achievement test. Directions were straight-forward. Having to scroll up and down to refer back to charts or written paragraphs was a little troublesome for my 10-year old who is not adept at the computer, but his overall experience was good. Customer service at Christian Liberty was fantastic when I had to contact them during the testing. I would recommend not taking the test all in one day. The low price of the test and immediate results were the main reasons I chose this test.

Fast, user friendly and inexpensive
Loved that each test was labeled with the amount of time minutes given and a timer counting down on the screen as the child is working. Completely thrilled to receive the test results within a hour of completion. We will definitely use this site for future testing.

perfect for the procrastinator
This is easy and quick. You have access to the test immediately after your purchase. You can take each section at your leisure. We broke it up over three days while on vacation. I love that you can look at the reports to see how your child is doing. I have one who could care less and one who would stress until he knew. Getting the results immediately is very nice for him. This test fulfills my requirement while showing some areas that need help.

Two Thumbs Up
This came highly recommended by several friends. It was my first time administering this test and I loved how easy this test was to administer for my son. It was all done online. I really loved that you get the results right away. Not having to wait for results was so nice. I would recommend this test to everyone. You do, however, wanna make sure your kid is good at using a mouse on a computer when taking this test though because every section is timed and they won't get through it in time if they don't know how to use one. My suggestion if they don't know how to use a mouse well would be to have them read the questions and point to the answer and you do the clicking for them. That way they'll be able to get through the test in a timely manner. We are such a tech family that that wasn't an issue but I can see that being an issue for younger kids who've never used a computer. Once you use this test one time you'll never go back to using another. This is how I will administer my sons test from now on.
